Dr. Sekhon grew up in the Central Valley, graduating from Clovis High School. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital, Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology, advanced therapeutic endoscopy at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. During his fellowship, he served as Chief Fellow in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Sekhon currently serves as the Chairman of Gastroenterology at Clovis Community Medical Center.
He is actively involved in research. He recently helped author “Triage of General Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Procedures During the COVID-19 Pandemic”.
He serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Sekhon is board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Gastroenterology.
